Grandview’s Lauren Betts and Valor Christian’s Raegan Beers selected to Girls 2022 McDonald’s All American Game

CHIGACO – Grandview’s Lauren Betts and Valor Christian’s Raegan Beers were selected as participants in the upcoming Girls McDonald’s All-American Game, announced today. The duo was selected from a large group of nominees, and are now recognized as two of the top 24 girls basketball players in the nation.

The annual event returns this March, to showcase the nation’s rising stars who will go head-to-head at Wintrust Arena in Chicago. Betts and Beers are two of the leaders for the No. 1 (Valor Christian) and No. 2 (Grandview) ranked teams in 5A this season. Both are also signed on to play major Division I basketball next season, with Betts at Stanford and Beers at Oregon State.

Grandview’s Marya Hudgins and ThunderRidge’s Zach Keller were also nominated to play in the games, but were not selected. Players were nominated by either a high school coach, athletic director, principal or member of the McDonald’s All American Games Selection Committee.

Fans can tune in to the McDonald’s All American Girls Game on Tuesday, March 29 at 6:30 p.m. ET on ESPN2.
