You all know that the St. Vrain Invitational runs in two divisions, a 2A/3A division and a 4A/5A division. That, of course, leaves some questions unanswered. I’m going to try to answer at least most of those questions here.
First, we’ll score the 2A results with just 2A included. No wondering about what differences it made to leave the 3A in the scoring.
Next, we’ll take anyone who ran up in the 4A/5A division (that would be the St. Mary’s boys) and score them with the rest of 2A.
It’s probably a slight handicap to score St. Mary’s with the rest of 2A here. Conditions when St. Mary’s ran were a few degrees warmer. The difference in terms of performance was probably not large, but the Pirates were likely slightly slowed by the added temperature.
