BROOMFIELD — Turning aluminum bats into twigs, pings into plunks, Erie and first-year coach Tobin EchoHawk have had the kind of one-two pitching punch this fall that will surely be instrumental for any upcoming postseason run.
To date, the state’s softball scene is baffled about what to do with flamethrower Gracie Sackett and the nearly unhittable Matix Hull.
Any pointers for the rest of Colorado would probably be appreciated.
“I don’t know,” EchoHawk laughed when asked. “They’re both very different, which is a nice problem to have.”
