Empower Field at Mile High to host “Championship Saturday XVII”

DENVER — For the 17th year, Empower Field at Mile High will host “Championship Saturday XVII,” the Colorado High School Activities Association (CHSAA) 4A and 5A football championship games on Saturday, Dec. 3.

Broomfield will take on Loveland in the 4A championship slated to begin at 11 a.m. Cherry Creek and Valor Christian will kickoff in the 5A matchup following the 4A game at approximately 2:30 p.m. 

“Championship Saturday XVII” is presented by the Colorado Sports Hall of Fame (CSHOF) in partnership with CHSAA and the Denver Broncos. For more information on CSHOF, please visit www.coloradosports.org.   
 
CHAMPIONSHIP SATURDAY’ INFORMATION 
Fans are encouraged to arrive early and purchase their tickets in advance, as long lines are expected on gameday. The stadium box office is open from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. on Friday and at 9 a.m. on Saturday. Tickets can be purchased online in advance of or on gameday by visiting Ticketmaster.com or by calling Ticketmaster at 800-745-3000. Tickets are $15 for all attendees and all seating will be general admission for both games. 

Broomfield & Cherry Creek general admission seating sections will be located on the west side (101-109) and Loveland & Valor Christian general admission seating sections will be located on the east side (119-127). Gameday Suites are $900 and available by emailing Premium.Seats@Broncos.NFL.net or by calling the stadium ticket office at 720-258-3333.

Fans should be advised that the metal detectors and the clear bag policy will be in effect for both championship games. 

Parking for both games is free and will be available in Lots A B, C and J. Parking lots will fill on first-come, first-serve basis, so fans are advised to follow the direction of stadium parking personnel to minimize traffic delays. Accessible parking will be available in Lots B and C.

At the conclusion of each game, a CHSAA representative will conduct the trophy presentation on the field. Media will have the opportunity to cover the trophy ceremonies.
