AURORA – The 4A and 5A girls lacrosse state championship matches are set for Friday night at the University of Denver’s Peter Barton Lacrosse Stadium.
Top-seeded Castle View held off fifth-seeded Green Mountain, 10-9, in the semifinals Wednesday night, while No. 2 Mead escaped No. 3 Evergreen, 13-12. Read the full recap. Castle View and Mead will take the field first at 5:30 p.m. Watch the game live on the NFHS Network.
In 5A on Tuesday night, No. 1 seed Colorado Academy knocked off fourth-seeded Cherry Creek, 17-7, while No. 6 Regis Jesuit upset No. 2 Valor Christian, 11-7, to advance to its first-ever state championship game.
