AURORA – The quarterfinal round of the CHSAA’s 2023 4A Boys Soccer State Championship Tournament was completed Saturday. All four winners will advance to the semifinals, with matches being played at JeffCo Trailblazer Stadium on Nov. 8. Start times for all games can be found on the bracket.
No. 1 seed Northfield continued to move through the bracket as they defeated No. 9 seed Air Academy, 5-2. Northfield will face No. 12 seed Regis Groff, after Regis pulled off another upset, knocking off No. 4 seed Cheyenne Mountain with an overtime goal in the second round.
The No. 2 seed also advanced, as Centaurus beat No. 7 seed Steamboat Springs, 2-1. The Warriors will face No. 3 Battle Mountain in the quarterfinals, as they defeated No. 11 seed Niwot, 3-1.
Following next round’s semifinal matches, the state championship finals will then be played on Nov. 11, at Switchbacks Weidner Field in Colorado Springs. Championship tickets can be found on SeatGeek.
