The CHSAA’s 3A Football Playoffs kicked off on Friday night with No. 15 Denver North traveling to play No. 2 Holy Family. On the opposite end of the bracket, No. 9 Roosevelt upset No. 8 Riverdale Ridge on the road, 55-20. In the quarterfinals, they will play the winner of Saturday’s Green Mountain vs. Glenwood Springs game.

In a shoot out, No. 5 Lutheran outlasted No. 12 Frederick, 66-37, to punch their ticket to the quarterfinals, where they’ll face the winner of Durango vs. Mead.
