AURORA – The Colorado High School Activities Association’s Board of Directors met Monday morning for its January meeting.
In advance of Tuesday’s Legislative Council meeting, the group decided to pull four administrative proposals for esports after determining that they were editorial clarifications. With that, the Legislative Council will not vote on:
- ADM 2 – Esports 8 Seasons of Participation
- ADM 3 – Esports Academic Regain Date
- ADM 5 – Esports Restricted Varsity
- ADM 7 – Esports Coach Ejection
The Legislative Council will still vote on the actual bylaw change, which is ACT 1 – Esports Eligibility.
Other highlights throughout the meeting included Colorado Legislature updates, finance updates, legal updates, director reports before updates from the CHSAA Commissioner, Associate Commissioner and staff.
