Adult Staff Needed for Student Leadership Summer Camp

AURORA – The Colorado High School Activities Association is looking for adult camp volunteers to round out the camp staff for the Student Leadership Summer Camp at Colorado Mesa University this June 3-6.

If you would like to work with student leaders from across the state, connect with other adult leaders and/or earn college credit, apply now to be a camp staff member. This will be an opportunity to have some fun and work with over 250 of Colorado’s high school student leaders.

Aside from being a volunteer, all expenses will be covered; including room and board and possibly mileage reimbursement.

An ideal candidate would be a current Student Council adviser, a class sponsor, assistant principal or a certified teacher. Applicants must be able to attend all camp sessions and will be required to prepare and teach several leadership content seminars (under the guidance of the camp directors).

Staff training will begin the morning of Monday, June 3 and sessions will run through Thursday, June 6. For more information, email CHSAA Assistant Commissioner Rashaan Davis.
