AURORA – Round of 32 play began Friday in the Colorado High School Activities Association’s Softball State Championships with a number of sites determining its regional champion and state qualifiers, and a number also postponing games due to weather. The winner of each of the eight sites and the runners-up will all advance to next week’s Round of 16.
All game dates, times and results can be found on the 3A bracket, 4A brackers or 5A brackets.
The full Round of 16 bracket will be reseeded and released on Monday for Classes 4A and 5A, while the 3A bracket will be released on Tuesday morning following Monday’s completion of the final Round of 32 games. State championship play will begin with the first and quarterfinal round games on Friday, while the semifinals and finals will take place on Saturday. All games in the Round of 16, including the State Championship games, will be played at the Aurora Sports Park.
