AURORA – The Opening Weekend of the inaugural Flag Football State Championships has been completed with all first and quarterfinal round matches in the books. Semfinal matchups for Championship Saturday have been set for next weekend with the winners advancing to the Championship Game.
In 5A, Arvada West, Legend, Mountain Vista and Valor Christian advanced to next weekend, while George Washington, Green Mountain, Mountain View and The Classical Academy advanced in the 4A bracket.
Championship Saturday games will be played at Trailblazer Stadium and Jeffco Stadium in Lakewood. Tickets can be purchased on GoFan.
4A semifinal games will be at 11:30 a.m., followed by the 5A semifinals at 1:45 p.m. The 4A championship game will be at Trailblazer Stadium at 4 p.m., followed by the 5A championship game at 6:45 p.m. Find all stadium information, schedules and parking maps on the postseason information page.
