AURORA — The semifinals matchups for the 5A boys lacrosse state tournament have been determined following Wednesday’s quarterfinals.
The top four seeds have advanced to the semifinals. No. 2 Arapahoe and No. 4 Colorado Academy had to hold off upset-minded teams — Araphaoe beat No. 10 Legend 9-6, and Colorado Academy topped No. 12 Poudre School District 9-4.
The semifinals, at the University of Denver’s Peter Barton Stadium, are scheduled for Saturday at 3 p.m. and 5:30 p.m., respectively.
All semifinal games will be streamed live on the NFHS Network.

No. 1 Cherry Creek plays Colorado Academy, and Arapahoe faces No. 3 Valor Christian.
Teams are charting a course towards the May 19 championship game, to be played at 7:30 p.m. at the University of Denver’s Peter Barton Stadium.
