Following an hour-long weather delay, events at the Colorado track and field state championships will resume at 5 p.m. Athletes should return to the track at 4:45 for a 10-minute warm-up prior to the start of the remaining events.
The state meet format has already moved to a rolling schedule.

With less than a week to go before state, athletes tuned up at the Jeffco Last Chance track and field qualifier.
Athletes had a chance to tune up and better their state marks at the Rangeview track and field last chance qualifier on Friday.

The postseason is one step closer as the Jeffco League teams got through Day 1 of their league track and field meet on Thursday.
The following are the playoff formats and sites for Season D sports. State titles are slated to be awarded in girls tennis, boys and girls lacrosse, boys swimming and diving, boys and girls track and field, girls soccer, and baseball. Finally, boys volleyball will crown its first ever CHSAA state champion on June 26.
“We are excited to culminate all 31 CHSAA-sanctioned activities and athletics for the 2020-2021 competitive year with Season D championships,” said CHSAA Commissioner Rhonda Blanford-Green.
Class 1A
