No. 8 Faith Christian came away with the win in a back-and-forth, five set match against No. 6 Middle Park.
The Eagles took the first set, but Middle Park fought back to take the second.
Then, in the third set, Faith Christian got a narrow 25-23 win. And again, Middle Park tied it in the fourth set.
It was a 15-10 win in the fifth set that allowed the Eagles to take a collective breath.
Faith Christian’s Sophia Keister had 24 assists, and Alina Randall had 17 kills. Both Keister and Randall had four service aces.

No. 10 Pagosa Springs gets strong win against Ignacio
Pagosa Springs, ranked tenth in the CHSAANow.com preseason volleyball poll, put forth a dominant effort to win 3-0 over Ignacio.
The Pirates won 25-10, 25-9, 25-12.
Faith Ahlhardt had seven aces in the game. Ahlhardt and Keena Murphy each had seven digs.
