DENVER – The first annual CHSAA Winter Sports High School Media Day, hosted by the Colorado Avalanche, Denver Nuggets and Kroenke Sports & Entertainment, was held on Tuesday at Ball Arena. It was an a collaborative event that featured dozens of Colorado’s top high school student-athletes from across the state gathered in advance of the 2021-22 winter sports season.
The five-hour event was provided an opportunity for select winter sports athletes and coaches from all winter sports to interact with media. The student-athletes cycled through a media relations crash course, a photo shoot, a brief stadium tour and ended with a press conference. For the attending media, it was a one-stop shop to visit with some of the state’s best wrestlers, basketball players, hockey players, swimmers and divers from all areas of Colorado.
