The really big picture story is that Niwot’s girls edged Mountain Vista, while Mountain Vista’s boys edged Niwot. Whether that’s a net victory for Mountain Vista or not probably depends a lot on the perspective from which you read things.
Regardless, it was a nice showing for Vista Nation. Fairview ran a reasonably close second (in 5A) to Mountain Vista in the boys. Nobody else was in the same zip code so far as the girls were concerned. That much, at least, probably leaves a pleasant taste in the mouth of the MV coaching staff.
