AURORA – The Colorado High School Activities Association works closely with the National Federation of State High School Associations to annually recognize high school educators, supervisors and adjudicators.
With that, the nomination forms for the Music Outstanding Educator and Outstanding Speech & Debate Educator Award are now live. Nominees must exemplify the highest standards of ethical conduct. All nominations are due by Nov. 1.
The Music Outstanding Educator is given annually in order to recognize:
- Outstanding high school music educators,
- Supervisors,
- Music adjudicators.
This recognition is on behalf of their commitment to music students, the discipline of music and their continued efforts to promote and sustain music in their school and community. For individuals worthy of this recognition, nominate them now.
The Outstanding Speech & Debate Educator Award is given for an educators:
- Overall contributions,
- Service both to curricular and co-curricular activities,
- Significant and on-going contributions to the field,
- Organization and continuance of an activity program,
- Contributions to the profession both in and out of the state.
