AURORA – The second round of the CHSAA’s 2023 Field Hockey State Championship Tournament concluded Wednesday night, cementing who the 16 quarterfinalists will be. The winners will both advance to the quarterfinals, with matches being played at the home site of the higher-seeded team. Start times for all games can be found on the bracket.
No. 9 seed Palmer Ridge advanced to the quarterfinals by defeating No. 8 seed Liberty. They will play No. 1 seed Colorado Academy in the second round Friday at 6 p.m. Meanwhile, No. 7 seed Arapahoe beat No. 11 seed Mountain Vista 2-1 in overtime to reach the quarterfinals, where they will play No. 2 seed Cherry Creek.
The state championship finals will then be played the next week, on Nov. 1, at All-City Stadium in Denver. Tickets can be found here, once made available.
