Day, Time Changes Made to Field Hockey State Championships

AURORA – Due to the cold temperatures forecasted for this weekend and early next week in the Denver metro area, the Colorado High School Activities Association has made changes to the upcoming rounds of the Field Hockey State Championships.
 
All four quarterfinal round games will now be played Friday afternoon, while Monday’s semifinal games will be at 4 and 5:45 p.m. The quarterfinal round games will be hosted by the higher seed, while semifinal games will be played at the DPS All-City Stadium.
 
Quarterfinal Round on Friday, Oct. 27:

  • 3:30 p.m. – No. 5 St. Mary’s at No. 4 Kent Denver (at Denver Horn Family Field)
  • 4 p.m. – No. 7 Arapahoe at No. 2 Cherry Creek (at CCSD Stutler Bowl Stadium)
  • 6 p.m. – No. 9 Palmer Ridge at No. 1 Colorado Academy (at Colorado Academy Slater Field)
  • 6:30 p.m. – No. 6 Denver East vs. No. 3 Regis Jesuit (at Regis Jesuit)

Semifinal Round on Monday, Oct. 30:

  • 4 p.m. – TBD (at DPS All-City Stadium)
  • 5:45 p.m. – TBD (at DPS All-City Stadium)

Championship Game on Wednesday, Nov. 1

  • 6 p.m. – TBD (at DPS All-City Stadium)
