AURORA – Overland and Standley Lake won the Overland Regional Gymnastics Championships Thursday night at Overland High School. With a team score of 178.250, Overland topped the 5A leaderboard, while Standley Lake captured the 4A title with a season-high team score of 177.475.
5A RECAP

Overland captured the 5A regional championship with a team score of 178.250, while Ponderosa took second (173.825), Poudre School District third (168.900), Lakewood fourth (167.250) and Rock Canyon fifth (152.175).
Lakewood’s Lauren Burt swept the individual titles, winning the all-around (38.700) with winning scores on vault (9.825), bars (9.625), beam (9.575) and floor (9.675). Overland’s Ainsley Renner finished runner-up in each of the events to finish second in the all-around with a score of 37.550. She recorded scores of 9.4 on vault, 9.25 on bars, 9.475 on beam and 9.425 on floor.
Overland’s Kyla Burke (36.550) took third in the all-around, finishing fourth on vault (9.15), beam (9.4) and floor (9.3).
Ponderosa’s Ellie Dermer was fourth in the all-around, compiling a score of 36.025, and Poudre’s Frankie McCoy rounded out the top five with a score of 35.575. Dermer turned in top-five finishes on bars (4th, 8.875), beam (3rd, 9.4) and floor (3rd, 9.4), while McCoy was fifth on vault (8.95) and fifth on bars (8.875).
Other top-five individual event finishers included Ponderosa’s Maya Sala and Overland’s Audrey Cox, Maia Howell and Ryann Walline.
Sala finished third on vault (9.375), Cox was third on bars (9.05), Howell was fifth on beam (9.1) and Walline was fifth on floor (9.275).
4A RECAP

Standley Lake captured the 4A team title with a score of 177.757. Evergreen finished second with a score of 176.250, while Pueblo Central took third with a score of 161.325. Bear Creek came in fourth (152.675) and Canon City took fifth (124.925).
Standley Lake’s Tessa Grudle claimed the all-around title with a combined score of 37.400. Grudle won the beam (9.175) and floor (9.525), while she finished second on bars (9.5) and third on vault (9.2).
Evergreen’s Sydney Burns finished second in the all-around after winning the vault (9.225) and bars (9.65). She finished with a score of 35.850.
Standley Lake captured third and fourth in the all-around with Celeste Martinez taking third (35.500) and Marrick Nakatsu finishing in fourth (35.225). On beam, Martinez finished second (8.975), while Nakatsu was fifth (8.55), and on floor, Martinez finished third (9.45) and Nakatsu took fourth (9.35). Nakatsu also finished fourth on bars with a score of 8.925.
Evergreen’s Charlotte Baysinger rounded out the top-five individual all-around finishers, as she put together a score of 34.725. Baysinger finished fifth on both the vault (8.95) and floor (9.225) exercises.
Evergreen’s Reese Kormylo recorded three top-five individual finishes, placing fourth on vault (9.05), fifth on bars (8.875) and third on beam (8.9). Standley Lake’s Kira White also earned two top-five finishes, placing second on both vault (9.225) and floor (9.525), while Evergreen’s Lola Visci was third on bars with a score of 9.45 and Standley Lake’s Kara Sundbye took fourth on beam (8.7).
