AURORA – The semifinals of the Colorado High School Activities Association’s 2023 Field Hockey State Championship Tournament were completed Monday night at DPS All-City Stadium in Denver.
No. 2 seed Cherry Creek recorded their second consecutive shutout, as they toppled No. 6 seed Denver East 6-0, thanks to five second half goals.
In the State Championship Game, Cherry Creek will face No. 1 seed Colorado Academy. Colorado Academy advanced to the semifinals after a gutsy 1-0 win over No. 5 seed St. Mary’s Academy.
