AURORA – The semifinal round of the Colorado High School Activities Association’s 2023 3A Boys Soccer State Championship Tournament was completed Wednesday night at the University of Northern Colorado.
The No. 1 seed Colorado Academy started the night by shutting out the No. 4 seed Forge Christian 3-0 to secure their spot in the State Championship Game.
In the State Championship Game, they will face No. 15 seed Coal Ridge, who continues their run of upsets. Coal Ridge earned their spot in the championship by notching their latest upset against No. 6 seed Rifle, 2-1, thanks to scoring two second-half goals.
The winners have advanced to the State Championship Game, which will be played on Nov. 11 at Switchbacks Weidner Field in Colorado Springs. State Championship tickets for the finals can be found on SeatGeek.
