AURORA — Practice for 2023-24 winter sports may officially begin today for high schools across the state of Colorado. In addition, scrimmages are scheduled to start on Saturday, Nov. 18, with the first competitions taking place on Monday, Nov. 27.
Winter postseason competition will take place throughout the months of February and March, as the Colorado High School Activities Association will host championships in boys and girls basketball, ice hockey, boys and girls skiing, speech & debate, girls swimming and boys and girls wrestling.
