Girls Tennis: Individual State Champions Awarded in All Three Classifications

AURORA – Despite rain delays and location changes, particularly in Colorado Springs and Pueblo, the Colorado High School Activities Association awarded its individual state champions for all seven positions at the Girls Tennis Individual State Championship on Saturday.

Across the three classifications, 11 different teams claimed at least one position championship with Cheyenne Mountain, D’Evelyn, Kent Denver and Ralston Valley leading the way with three individual titles. Cherry Creek and Colorado Academy each captured two, with Fairview, Holy Family, Mullen, Peak to Peak and Valor Christian picking up one apiece.
