AURORA – The Colorado High School Activities Association crowned its 2024 Boys Lacrosse State Championships at Peter Barton Stadium in Denver on Monday.
Top-seeded Erie started the day by winning its first-ever state title with a 14-6 win over No. 7 Northfield, a team making its first appearance in the state championship game, in the 4A contest. Third-seeded Valor Christian then put together one of the most – if not the most – dominant performances in Colorado boys lacrosse history to capture its third overall boys lacrosse state championship, its first 5A title and first championship since winning back-to-back 4A titles in 2016 and 2017. The Eagles defeated No. 1 Arapahoe, 22-6.
