CHSAA Announces Partnership with Jostens

AURORA – The Colorado High School Activities Association (CHSAA) is thrilled to announce its partnership with Jostens as a proud partner and sponsor of the CHSAA Student Leadership Conference.

Throughout this partnership, Jostens will leverage its Renaissance program; a framework that builds a culture where teachers love their jobs and students thrive in school. Jostens Renaissance, which is exclusively available for Jostens’ schools, offers turnkey culture-building resources, a supportive community, and inspirational events. These programs are designed to increase student engagement, attendance, and graduation rates, while also supporting educators’ professional development, fulfillment and retention.

“Jostens is excited to join forces with CHSAA,” said Nils Erikson of Jostens. “This newly formed partnership will kick off right away this summer as Jostens is the proud sponsor of the 59th Annual CHSAA Student Leadership Conference. Supporting the development of student leaders helps promote strong school communities and fosters an environment where all students thrive. Jostens has been helping schools recognize the accomplishments of their students since 1897. This partnership supports the student leaders of today to become engaged leaders for tomorrow.”

Dr. Phil Campbell, known to his students and staff as PC, is a veteran educator with a passion for loving kids and motivating educators. His goal is to assist schools in becoming the best learning environment they can possibly be for students to learn and for teachers to teach. His philosophy to accomplish this is simple: put relationships first, genuinely love and protect one another, and create a sense of family within your school setting. With educational experience as a teacher, coach, athletic director, and principal, PC understands how to overcome obstacles to win for today’s youth and educators.

“I am thrilled that PC and the entire Jostens Renaissance team will be joining CHSAA, starting with our annual student leadership summer camp and continuing at future events,” said CHSAA Assistant Commissioner Rashaan Davis, who oversees student leadership at the state level. “Over the years, I have learned so much from PC about my own style and how to be a more transformational leader, so I fully endorse his teachings. His dedication to enhancing school climate and culture aligns perfectly with CHSAA’s vision. Together, we will build student resilience, emphasize the importance of leadership, and amplify the voices of student leaders. I look forward to sharing more details about upcoming opportunities for our schools to engage with PC at future CHSAA events.”

CHSAA’s Annual Student Leadership Summer Camp is held on the campus of Colorado Mesa University, in Grand Junction from June 3-6. The annual camp brings together students involved in high school leadership programs from across the state of Colorado.
