AURORA – To better understand the unique needs of the small and rural schools within its membership, the Colorado High School Activities Association (CHSAA) will be hosting two Small and Rural School Symposium this October.
The events are free to attend and are open to all Superintendents, Principals and Athletic/Activity Directors throughout Colorado.
The first symposium will be in Grand Junction on Thursday, Oct. 24, while the second will be in Aurora on Tuesday, Oct. 29. All attendees must register in advance, with the registration deadline being Monday, Oct. 14. Specific location information will be sent in advance of the event.
These events are dedicated to fostering collaboration and addressing the unique challenges and opportunities within the small and rural school communities throughout Colorado. These symposiums will bring leaders together for insightful discussions, networking and problem-solving.
In addition to large and small group discussions, a Q&A session with CHSAA leadership, participants will be able to engage with fellow leaders in similar communities, share best practices and contribute to the development strategies that will benefit CHSAA member schools and students.
If there is a topic that should be discussed at the symposium, there is an option on the registration form to share those ideas.
