Boys Golf State Championship Information

AURORA – The Colorado High School Activities Association’s 2024 Boys Golf State Championships will take place on Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 7-8.
 
With four classifications in boys golf, the championships will be hosted across four different sites:

  • Class 2A at The Club at Rollins Hills, in Golden.
  • Class 3A at Walking Stick Golf Course, in Pueblo.
  • Class 4A at Tiara Rado Golf Course, in Redlands.
  • Class 5A at CommonGround Golf Course, in Aurora.

 
Where can I find results?

What time will the course open?

  • The courses open one hour before the first scheduled tee time on both Monday and Tuesday.

 
Do I need to buy a ticket to enter?

  • No tickets are needed to attend the state golf championships.

 
How do we know who is paired together and/or when a certain player’s tee time is?

 
When will play start?

  • For Class 3A and 5A, tee times will begin at 8 am from tees No. 1 and No. 10.
  • For Class 2A, individuals will begin teeing off at 9 a.m. from tees No. 1 and No. 10.
  • For Class 4A, tee times will begin at 9:30 a.m. from tees No. 1 and No. 10. 

 
What is the format of play?

  • The tournament will be a 36-hole, two-day stroke-play tournament to determine the individual champion. The team champion will be decided by the top-three team scorers.
  • The first 18 holes will be played on Monday, with the final 18 holes played on Tuesday.

 
Will there be a trophy presentation?

  • Individual and team presentations will take place immediately after the committee has checked all results. The first and second-place teams will be awarded trophies, with the top-10 individual finishers earning medals.

 
What happens in the case of a tie?

  • Only first and second-place ties, team and individual, will be broken through a hole-by-hole playoff. All other ties will remain tied.

 
Where can I find past champions or team winners?
