AURORA – The Colorado High School Activities Association (CHSAA) has released the bracket for the Field Hockey State Championships.
An initial 16-team postseason bracket will be seeded with the first-round games determining competition in the eight-team, single-elimination championship bracket and consolation bracket, as the winners will move to the championship bracket and the losers will create an eight-team consolation bracket.
First round games will be played on Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 28-29, with the quarterfinal games taking place Thursday, Oct. 31 through Saturday, Nov. 2. All first and quarterfinal round games will be played at the home site of the higher seed.
The semifinals and championship games for both brackets will be hosted at DPS All-City Stadium. The championship bracket semifinals will be on Monday, Nov. 4, followed by the consolation bracket semifinals on Tuesday, Nov. 5. Both championship games will be played on Wednesday, Nov. 6.
