AURORA – The 2025 baseball regional championship brackets for 2A, 3A, 4A and 5A are set to be seeded and released next Wednesday, May 14 by the Colorado State High School Activities Association (CHSAA) office. Play in the 1A baseball state championship bracket will begin this weekend.
The 2A, 3A, 4A and 5A postseasons will begin next weekend, with Regionals on Friday and Saturday, May 16-17. Games 1-11 of the state championships will take place Friday and Saturday, May 23-24, with Games 12-15 on Friday and Saturday, May 30-31.
There will be 32 teams that qualify for the single-elimination regional tournament, based on the CHSAA Seeding Index. The official rankings are updated hourly with the latest RPI data, and each Monday and Thursday with MaxPreps data. (Find answers to FAQs about the Seeding Index here).
The eight regional winners for each class are re-seeded and will advance to a double-elimination state tournament to be played at various sites. Games 1-11 of the 2A state championship will be in Pueblo at the Runyon Sports Complex, while 3A will be in Greeley at Butch Butler Field and University High School, 4A in Colorado Springs at Air Force Academy and University of Colorado Colorado Springs and 5A in Denver/Lakewood at All-Star Park and All-City Stadium.
Games 12-15 will be at Runyon Sports Complex for 2A, Butch Butler Field for 3A, the Air Force Academy for 4A and All-Star Park for 5A.
For anyone planning to attend any games at the Air Force Academy, you MUST fill out a Visitor Pre-Authorization Request Form in advance (please note it can take up to 24 hours for processing).
