5A Girls Lacrosse: Semifinal Matchups Set for Tuesday Night

AURORA — The quarterfinals of the 5A girls lacrosse state tournament took place Friday.

The top four seeds have advanced to the semifinals, which are scheduled for Tuesday, May 13, at 5 p.m. and 7 p.m., at Englewood High School’s Randy Penn Stadium. All semifinal games will be streamed live on the NFHS Network.

Tickets can be purchased through GoFan. No cash sales will be made on site. 

In the closest contest of the night, No. 3 seed Regis Jesuit defeated No. 6 seed Colorado Academy 11-10, ending Colorado Academy’s streak of nine straight state tournament championships.

Teams are charting a course towards the Friday, May 16 championship game, to be played at 7:30 p.m. at the University of Denver’s Peter Barton Stadium.
