AURORA — The the field for the 4A boys lacrosse state tournament semifinals has been set following Tuesday’s quarterfinals.
No. 2 Dakota Ridge edged No. 7 Telluride in the closest game of the night and will now face No. 3 Evergreen, a 16-6 winner over No. 6 Golden. Meanwhile, No. 1 Aspen defeated No. 9 Steamboat Springs 9-4 and now faces No. 4 Air Academy, which was a 15-9 winner over No. 5 Resurrection Christian.
Teams are charting a course towards the May 19 championship game, to be played at 5 p.m. at the University of Denver’s Peter Barton Stadium.
The semifinals, also at Peter Barton Stadium, are scheduled for May 17 at 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., respectively.
All semifinal games will be streamed live on the NFHS Network.
