Girls Lacrosse: Championships Set to Be Played Friday at DU

AURORA — The 2025 girls lacrosse season reaches its pinnacle on Friday, with championship games at the University of Denver’s Peter Barton Stadium.

The 4A championship game between No. 1 Evergreen and No. 2 Green Mountain is set for 5 p.m., with the 5A championship between No. 1 Valor Christian and No. 2 ThunderRidge to follow at 7:30.

Evergreen is seeking its second straight 4A championship and its third overall, including the 2021 title. Green Mountain was the 2022 champion.

The 5A winner will be a first-time champion. Valor Christian was runner-up in both 2021 and 2022.

In the 4A semifinals on Wednesday, No. 2 Green Mountain beat No. 3 Battle Mountain 12-9, while No. 1 Evergreen topped No. 4 Mead 16-10.

Tuesday in 5A, No. 2 ThunderRidge edged No. 3 Regis Jesuit 15-14, and No. 1 Valor Christian defeated No. 4 Fairview 14-3, 

The championship games will be streamed live on the NFHS Network.
