AURORA — Semifinal games of the CHSAA Girls State Soccer Tournament were played Thursday for classes 5A, 4A and 3A and Saturday for 2A, determining the participants for championship games May 20 and 21 at Switchbacks Weidner Field in Colorado Springs.
The two-day championships will kick off with the 3A title game on Tuesday at 5 p.m., when No. 1 Colorado Academy takes on No. 11 Timnath. The nightcap will feature No. 1 Evergreen vs. No. 3 Windsor in the 4A championship game at 8 p.m.
On Wednesday, No. 6 Loveland Classical an No. 8 Flatirons Academy will meet in the 2A championship game at 5 p.m., followed by the 5A final between No. 5 Fossil Ridge and No. 6 Castle View at 8 p.m.
All championship games will be streamed live on the NFHS Network.

In 3A, No. 11 Timnath has taken its postseason run all the way to the title game after defeating No. 2 Kent Denver, 1-0. Having already beaten the No. 3 and No. 2 teams, the Cubs will try to take down No. 1 Colorado Academy on Tuesday at 5 p.m. Colorado Academy is coming off a 3-0 victory over No. 5 Jefferson Academy.
In 4A, it will be No. 1 Evergreen vs. No. 3 Windsor on Tuesday at 8 p.m. Evergreen beat No. 4 Lutheran 3-1, while Windsor topped No. 10 Rampart 2-0.
In 5A, No. 6 Castle View outlasted No. 10 Broomfield in penalty kicks after the teams had played to a 3-3 tie through two overtimes. The Sabercats will play No. 5 Fossil Ridge — a 1-0 winner over No. 8 Valor Christian — in Wednesday’s 8 p.m. final.
In 2A, No. 8 Flatirons Academy continued its shutout streak, after getting past No. 1 Denver Christian in the quarterfinals, and knocked off No. 4 Crested Butte, 1-0, in the semifinals to advance to the championship game where it will face No. 6 Loveland Classical. The Lions advanced to the championship game by defeating No. 10 Forge Christian, 2-1.
