AURORA – The Colorado High School Activities Association is hosting its first weekend of the 2025 Baseball State Championships today and tomorrow. With the possibility of inclement weather tomorrow afternoon and in an attempt to get all games completed, the start times for all of Saturday’s games will be moved up 30 minutes earlier than originally scheduled.
Play begins on Friday with the first and second round games, with Saturday being the first and second round consolations games and the semifinals. The first round consolation games will now begin at 9 a.m., followed by the second-round consolation games at 11:30 a.m., and the semifinals at 2 p.m.
Adjusted Schedule for Saturday, May 24:
9 a.m. – Games 8 and 9 (First Round Consolation)
11:30 a.m. – Games 10 and 11 (Second Round Consolation)
2 p.m. – Game 7 (Semifinals)
The tournament will continue next Friday and Saturday with the third and fourth round consolation games on Friday, followed by the championship game(s) on Saturday.

Important Spectator/Venue Information
- Per the City of Greeley, NO PETS are allowed in the park for any 3A baseball games at either Butch Butler Field or University High School. This is inclusive of all pets, not just dogs.
- Per United State Air Force Academy base policy, anyone over the age of 18 (coaches, trainers, parents, school administrators, bus drivers, etc.) planning to attend any 4A baseball games at Air Force Academy’s Erdle Field MUST complete a Visitor Pre-Registration Request PRIOR to attending any games. The application can take up to 24 hours for processing, so please complete the form as early as possible. (the three bullets below will be indented further, this won’t let me do it)
- Anyone under the age of 18 and/or anyone with a valid DoD ID are exempt from this.
- For anyone that arrives on base without a completed and approved request, you will be subject to long lines and extended wait times at the visitors center upon arrival.
