  • No. 1 D’Evelyn girls soccer edges No. 10 Ponderosa

    D’Evelyn found the net once in the second half, but that’s all that was needed as the Class 4A No. 1 Jaguars grabbed a 1-0 win over No. 10 Ponderosa on Monday.

    The Jags (7-1-1 overall) were named the No. 1 team in the CHSAANow.com 4A soccer rankings earlier in the day.

    Heading into the game, Laryssa Hamblen led D’Evelyn with 12 goals on the season, ranking her 14th in goals scored in all of 4A.

    The Jags are back at home Wednesday for a Jeffco League showdown with Standley Lake.
