Girls soccer rankings: Grandview moves up to No. 1 in 5A

Grandview girls soccer, off to a 6-0-2 start this season, is the new No. 1 team in the Class 5A rankings this week.

Broomfield (5A) and Denver Christian (2A) moved atop their respective girls soccer rankings this week.

A host of new teams joined this week’s girls soccer rankings.

The 2017-18 all-state boys basketball teams are voted on by the coaches, and honor the best players in each classification.

There are two new No. 1 teams in this week’s girls soccer rankings: Grandview (5A) and Windsor (4A).

Wednesday’s scoreless tie between The Classical Academy and Air Academy once again shows that Class 4A is loaded with talented teams.

Arapahoe (5A), D’Evelyn (4A), Kent Denver (3A) and Denver Christian (2A) are the preseason No. 1 teams in girls soccer.

The 2017-18 all-state wrestling teams are led by wrestlers of the year in each of the four classifications, and honor the top athletes in the sport.
