Colorado Academy played host to Region 1 as the first day of the Class 4A tennis regional tournaments began on Wednesday.

D’Evelyn softball scored six runs in the bottom of the fifth inning to get a 12-2 win over Standley Lake on Tuesday.

No. 9 Golden softball beat D’Evelyn 10-6, thanks in part to two RBIs each from Haley Prey and Elena Goodspeed.

The 19th annual Dave Sanders Cross Country Invite was held on Saturday at Clement Park.
