  • Girls soccer’s state tournament brackets are out

    The state tournament brackets for girls soccer’s four classifications were released on Monday. Broomfield (5A), D’Evelyn (4A), Colorado Academy (3A) and Denver Christian (2A) are the top overall seeds.

    Find each bracket here:

    The tournaments begin on Tuesday with the first rounds in 2A and 5A. First round games in 3A and 4A are set for Wednesday.

    Second round games are Friday (5A) and Saturday (3A and 4A). The 2A quarterfinals are also Friday.

    Next week brings the 2A semifinals and 3A, 4A and 5A quarterfinals on May 15. Then, the 3A, 4A and 5A semifinals are May 18.

    Championship games are May 21 (2A and 3A) and May 22 (4A and 5A) at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City, home of the Colorado Rapids.

    The rankings, voted upon by coaches and select media members, are the official polls of the Association.

    These will serve as the final polls of the regular season.
