A fast start in the first quarter lifted Class 4A No. 13 Roosevelt girls basketball to a 55-14 win over Mountain View.

Alex Hurr scored 28 points and grabbed nine rebounds to lift Mountain View boys basketball to a 82-50 win over Roosevelt on Tuesday.
