AURORA – The Colorado High School Activities Association (CHSAA) has released its enrollment splits for the next cycle, 2026-28. These preliminary enrollment splits will be used to determine which classification a school competes in based on CHSAA Bylaw 1500, including student enrollment count.
AURORA – After two seasons as the team’s defensive coordinator, Greg Johnson moved up to head coach at Ralston Valley this season.
After wins last week over previously undefeated Northfield (18-16) and Columbine (48-6), the Mustangs improved to 7-1, just one win short of last year’s 8-9 campaign that ended in the state playoffs, and they are ranked No. 3 in 5A in CHSAA’s selection & seeding index.
For his efforts, Johnson has been recognized by being named the CHSAA/Denver Broncos Flag Football Coach of the Week.
AURORA – At the International Association of Approved Basketball Officials (IAABO) Fall Seminar on Sunday in Colorado Springs, Monica Tillman – the Colorado High School Activities Association’s Senior Coordinator of Sports and Officials – was recognized by the IAABO for her work with officials in Colorado.
AURORA – Two proposals were passed Tuesday morning during a virtual, special session of the Colorado High School Activities Association’s Legislative Council meeting: an enrollment multiplier and a one-time retention refund.
