Student Leadership Concludes Fall Summit

The last day to register is Tuesday, Sept. 10.
AURORA – The Colorado High School Activities Association (CHSAA) will be hosting its Colorado Speech and Debate Coaches Conference on Friday and Saturday, Aug. 23-24 at Cherry Creek High School. This year’s theme will be Teaching, Coaching and Collaborating for Success.
Over the course of the last year, the Colorado High School Activities Association hosted 23 music festivals around the state, including its first ever Mariachi Festival, enjoyed the second season of the Sweepstakes awards in speech and debate, saw a bevy of first-time champions in esports, hosted Colorado Governor Jared Polis for the spring esports championships, ushered in a new class of hall of famers, and experienced a ton of growth with its Summer Leadership Conference.

GRAND JUNCTION – The Colorado High School Activities Association wrapped up its Student Leadership Summer Camp at Colorado Mesa University on Thursday. This year’s event was themed Due North: Discover Your Authentic Leadership, which challenged students to find their “True North” – who they are – and their “North Star” – their leadership purpose.
