AURORA – The Colorado High School Activities Association is presenting new bylaw proposals and committee reports to the CHSAA’s Legislative Council, the democratic arm of the association, on Tuesday, April 22, at the DCSD Legacy Campus.
AURORA – The remaining four classifications – 1A, 2A, 3A and 4A – of boys and girls basketball will have its 2025 state tournaments brackets seeded and released on Sunday by the Colorado State High School Activities Association (CHSAA) office.
The weekly rankings for boys and girls basketball, which are based on the CHSAA Seeding Index, have been released.
INDIANAPOLIS – The NFHS has announced a total of 59 individuals across the country that have been selected to receive Outstanding Performing Arts Educator Awards, with two state recipients coming from Colorado. Montrose’s Sheridan Monroe Loyd has been named a state receipient for the Outstanding Music Educator Award and Widefield’s Stephanie Owen a state recipient for the Outstanding Speech and Debate Educator Award.
AURORA — The Colorado High School Activities Association inducted and celebrated their 35th Hall of Fame class, and celebrated four additional award winners, at the CHSAA 2024 Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, on Tuesday night.
LONE TREE – The Colorado High School Activities Association hosted its January 2025 Legislative Council meeting on Tuesday morning at the Douglas County School District Legacy Campus, and throughout the meeting, all nine bylaw proposals submitted were passed.
The January 2025 Legislative Council is meeting on Tuesday at the DCSD Legacy Campus in Lone Tree. The meeting will be streamed live. Updates from the meeting will also be posted throughout the day.
