The Many Faces of CHSAA Leadership – Bethany Brookens

I am joined this week by Bethany Brookens, CHSAA’s Associate Commissioner. Bethany is a Davidson College graduate, who also holds an MBA from the University of Colorado Denver. She is in her 16th year at CHSAA, where amongst her other administrative duties, she oversees basketball, skiing, tennis and volleyball.

Our series takes us to Stratton High School for a conversation with Shelby Thompson, the school district’s Athletic Director. Shelby has been in education for eight years and has been in her current position for five years. Shelby attended Chadron State College, where she earned her undergraduate degree in Sports & Rec Management & Exercise Science.
