This week’s spring sports rankings have been announced for boys and girls lacrosse, boys volleyball and girls soccer.

Due to current fires affecting air quality in Colorado, the Colorado High School Activities Association (CHSAA) wants to make sure all athletic programs are monitoring conditions closely and making informed decisions regarding outdoor activities.

AURORA – The Colorado High School Activities Association (CHSAA) has announced the hiring of Joe Brown as Assistant Commissioner. Brown will join the association to begin his duties on July 1. 

AURORA – The Colorado High School Activities Association (CHSAA), in partnership with the CU-Boulder Center for Leadership, is excited to invite member schools to participate in the “Developing Leadership Through Sport” Symposium. This symposium is an opportunity to align athletic leadership mission with practical strategies, research-based insights and statewide collaboration. Student-athletes will leave with tangible tools they can implement immediately within their teams and school communities.

AURORA – Practice for 2026 spring sports and activities may officially begin today for high schools across the state of Colorado.

Bob Ottewill, who served as the commissioner of the Colorado High School Activities Association from 1990-2002 and helped to modernize the Association, passed away Saturday. He was 79.
