ARVADA — It was just a few months ago that Lakewood wrapped up the Class 5A Jeffco League boys soccer title with a dramatic 1-0 overtime victory at Trailblazer Stadium.
Two weeks into the boys soccer season there was some movement at both the 5A and 4A levels. Castle View took the top spot on the 5A poll, while Mullen is the new number one in 4A. Colorado Academy (3A) and Crested Butte (2A) remain on top in their classifications.

The match was supposed to occur on Wednesday, but no one could have been happier about the change to Thursday than Eli Kerschen.
After the first week of action for boys soccer in 2021, Fairview, Denver North, Colorado Academy and Crested Butte remained the No. 1s in their respective classifications.
Like all athletes who participated in Season C earlier this year, boys soccer players across the state are coming into this fall following the shortest offseason they’ve ever had.
