Flag Football Coach of the Week

Mountain Vista finished the regular season with an undefeated 15-0 record. The Golden Eagles have five shutouts and have scored more than 40 points in six games. With the first ever CHSAA sanctioned Flag Football State Championships quickly approaching, coach Dana Srdoc is getting his girls prepped and ready for their first post season. 

AURORA – Mitch Hulse doesn’t have much coaching experience outside of some youth football, baseball and being a strength coach. But, when the opportunity to coach Mullen flag football arose, he decided to take on that challenge. 

AURORA – Coach Eric Mosley and his Rangeview Lady Raiders are off to a 6-4 start on the season. Prior to their most recent loss, the Raiders had rattled off three in a row. 

AURORA- The ThunderRidge flag football team is off to a hot 7-2 start in the inaugural sanctioned season of the sport. Led by coach Shane King, the Grizzlies are looking to usher in a new age of flag football, led by the trailblazing girls at the helm. 

Denver South’s flag football team is off to a remarkable start in the Colorado High School Activities Association’s inaugural flag football season.

The Classical Academy, led by coach Frank Haist is off to a perfect 4-0 start in the programs inaugural season.
 

Just two weeks into the Colorado High School Activities Association’s inaugural flag football season, Chatfield has already begun to standout as one of the state’s top programs, thanks to head coach Alexis Rosholt and the experience the team gained while competing in the flag football pilot program.

Lex Gutierrez and his group of trailblazing girls at Northglenn High School won CHSAA’s first ever sanctioned girls flag football game. After a promising start to the season, the growth and promise that Gutierrez has seen come out of flag football, is something he can hope to inspire on as large a scale as possible.
