AURORA – Basalt’s football head coach Carl Frerichs has been named the Broncos Coach of the Week for tackle football.

LAKEWOOD — Long time consuming drives just wasn’t Columbine’s style Friday at Jeffco Stadium, at least not for running back Mark Snyder.

AURORA – Josh Gardner has been the longtime coach at Mancos. He originally moved there to get away from the cities and enjoy the outdoors. What took him a little bit to realize, is that he would be coaching eight-man football, instead of the traditional 11-man he was used to.

ARVADA — Pomona rolled to a comfortable homecoming victory Friday night at the North Area Athletic Complex.

LAKEWOOD — Ralston Valley was able to grind out a big conference opening 15-12 victory over Chatfield on Thursday night at Jeffco Stadium.

The Denver East Angels football program is experiencing newfound success under head coach Stephen Ruempolhamer. Last year, under Coach Ruempolhamer, the Angels advanced to the second round of the playoffs, and notched a historic upset victory over Mullen.
