LITTLETON — It was a high school football coach’s dream that longtime Columbine football coach Andy Lowry experienced this month.

INDIANAPOLIS, IN (February 8, 2024) — Language in the 2024 NFHS Football Rules Book will be changed in an effort to ensure consistent interpretation of the rule regarding requirements for home team uniforms in high school football. Next season, all home team jerseys must be the same dark color(s) that clearly contrasts with white.

CHICAGO (January 3, 2024) — In its 39th year of honoring the nation’s most elite high school athletes, Gatorade today announced Austyn Modrzewski of Mountain Vista High School is the 2023-24 Gatorade Colorado Football Player of the Year. Modrzewski is the first Gatorade Colorado Football Player of the Year to be chosen from Mountain Vista High School. 

ARVADA — The state championship shine from the Fall high school sports season has been twice as bright for the Cillessen and Walker families this holiday season.
