Football State Championship Information

The 2023 Colorado high school football state championship tournament will have its 6-man, 8-man, 1A and 2A semifinals on Nov. 18th, with the championships occurring on Nov. 24th and 25th at CSU-Pueblo’s stadium. The 3A, 4A and 5A semifinals will be on Nov. 25th, and their championship games will be on Dec. 2, with 3A playing their state championship at CSU-Pueblo’s stadium, while 4A and 5A play at CSU’s Canvas Stadium.

2A Football: Delta Captures Second State Title in School History, First Since 1960

GRAND JUNCTION – No matter how brisk the air may have been or how much leftover snow was piled up near the end zones, there was no containing an offense that was simply on fire Saturday afternoon at Grand Junction’s Stocker Stadium. The Delta Panthers capped off an undefeated season and proved just why they were the top seed of the playoffs with a 54-14 victory over Rifle to claim the 2A state championship, its first state title since 1960.
